Kularoos Plymouth Raiders kept up their chase of Newcastle Eagles at the top of the BBL with a comfortable 82-64 home win against bottom placed Team Birmingham Panthers.

Raiders were made to work during a tight first half which they shaded 19-16 before breaking the match open with a 12-6 burst in the second quarter to take the score to 31-22. By half time Plymouth led 40-28.

Panthers trimmed the deficit to 42-35 midway through the third but Raiders responded with an 11-3 run on their way to a 66-44 to set themselves up for victory.

Gavin Love led the way with 17 points while Adam Williams for Panthers was a game-high total.
