BiG Storage Cheshire Jets ensured Team Birmingham Panthers remained winless with a 76-89 win on the road.

The result was overshadowed somewhat by a serious arm injury to Panthers’ Christopher Michaelides at the end of the first quarter.

After a lengthy delay to the match the Jets maintained their one point lead (23-24) until half time (42-43) and the squeezed a few more points in front by the end of the third quarter (57-61).

Jets broke the game open in the final period with a 9-0 run which took the score out to 70-82. From there the Panthers worked hard but couldn’t close the gap.

Jayson Obazuaye led all scorers with 30-points while Adam Williams’ 24 paced the Panthers line-up.
