The BiG Storage Cheshire Jets made it three wins in four games as they won on the road at the Marshall MK Lions by 82-85.

Veteran forward James Hamilton notched 22 points on the night, backed up by 19 points from Jayson Obazuaye. Mike New led the home side with 20 points.

The Lions took an early advantage as two triples from Kevin Griffin saw the score at 14-9 five minutes in. However, Myers and Obazuaye sparked a 9-0 response for the Jets as the Lions relied on Shawn Jamison to keep them close with two late scores as the first quarter ended 18-22.

Yorick Williams came out with all guns blazing in the second and made four three-pointers in the first four minutes to give the Lions a 39-33 lead. It didn't last long as Hamilton and TJ Walker made 4 points each in a 12-7 close to the half that saw the Jets sneak a 46-47 lead.

The Jets edged further ahead in the third stanza and led by 58-66 on a Hamilton three-pointer. The Lions again looked to Jamison to keep them in the game as he had 4 further points and they were just 64-68 down going into the fourth.

The game remained on a knife-edge with lead changes in the opening five minutes before a Shawn Myers triple gave the Jets the lead for good at 72-74. They pulled away to 79-85 before the hosts made one last stand. Griffin hit a three and with 3 seconds left Terrell Brown had a chance to tie the game, only for his effort to come back off the rim.
