The Worcester Wolves moved themselves into the play-off positions thanks to an 83-97 road victory over fellow play-off contenders Sheffield Sharks at the EIS, Sheffield on Friday evening.

Both sides traded baskets throughout the opening two quarters, and it was the Wolves who edged the score at 50-51 going in at the half. The second half saw the visitors begin to assert their authority on the game with a 7-0 burst midway through the third period to take the score out to 54-62.
